I am planning to buy a 5 room HBD flat and wish to rent partially as i am travelling a lot to overseas every month. Are there any regulations to give the HDB unit on rental? Please advice on rental potential for Punggol/Sengkan/Jurong west/east and which location is good to buy based future devlopments. My budget is around 400K. Thank you

Hi Aditya,

For a 5-room flat, you can rent out 2 bedrooms based on hdb guideline. I would recommend you getting a 5-room flat in jurong west, rooms are easily rented out in jurong west. It is also within ur $400k budget.
