Sure then it will be good to work with an exclusive agent whom you are comfortable with and can manage both the sale & purchase concurrently such that the transition will be smooth. I have worked with clients in a similar scenario, and we also waited for some time together for the right unit to appear before doing the sale. The key thing is to work with someone who is not looking at a fast deal but can advise the optimal plan and approach.
Also would you need the sale proceeds first to come back first before you can complete the purchase? That is also a factor to consider in the planning.
