Hi, if this newly purchase condo is going to be your matrimony home, then your stamp duty levy will be only at 3%. Instead of the usual 8%.

Good evening,

If this is your first residential property that you and your spouse are buying in SG, you will only be liable for Standard stamp duty payment which is 3% of purchase price.

There is no resale levy to pay. But there will be Stamp Duty payable. For SC/PR first matrimonial home, the stamp duty will be slightly less than 3% of the property price. You need not pay Additional Buyer Stamp Duty (ABSD).

1. 5% cash of book fee
2. 15% cash or CPF for down payment
3. 80% loan (depends on the eligibility)
4. around 3% stamp duty
5. around 2.5k of legal fee
