There are a few factors that we need to look at in terms of financial calculations. For the Executive Mansionette, our income is subjected to both Mortgage Servicing Ratio (MSR) and Total Debt Servicing Ratio (TDSR) while for the resale condo, we are only subject to TDSR.

We often advocate that detailed financial calculations is a must for all buyers especially if we are doing an upgrading. My partner who is also my wife is very detailed in her financial calculations and in fact she is also the trainer for financial calculations for our group. So I think we will be able to help you with that, no problem. We will not only calculate the affordability but we also see if we can plan some reserve funds for you so that we are prepared even for rainy days.

You will have to pay special attention to the cash flow and timeline so that you can avoid paying Additional Buyer Stamp Duty, minimise the cash outlay and avoid the need for an interim housing solution.
