Hi, I am eligible to buy resale flat under single scheme. Should I buy a 3 room resale flat in the city area worth 400K or buy a 5 room flat in the suburban area like Pasir Ris or Woodlands of the same price?

It depends what you want, whether you want to stay in the city or stay at Woodlands. I guess it all down to the lifestyles you are seeking.

One important note is that most 3 room in the City are more than 40 years old and you will be affected by the amount of CPF monies that can be used for the purchase.
