Sorry to inform you that you will not be eligible to sell within MOP unless you obtain a special approval to do so from HDB.

HDB usually will require you to include your spouse into the HDB within MOP as well.

Hi there,

- If you buy a resale flat as a single person, you'll still need to fulfill the 5-year Minimum Occupation Period (MOP) before selling it.
- In the case of marriage before the MOP is completed, you're generally not allowed to sell the flat unless there are exceptional circumstances (like divorce or financial hardship).
- However, if you plan to keep the flat after getting married, your spouse can move in with you. You could also include them as an essential occupier in your flat.
- If selling is a priority after marriage and you're unable to meet the MOP, you may have to explore options like appealing to HDB, though approval is rare.
