I am a Singaporean lady and have a 2 bedroom condo. I can sell it in 2017 if price is favourable.

If my SPR boyfriend buy a HDB under his name solely and we get married shortly. Will the authorities force me to sell my 2 bedroom condo if I move into his flat.

Hi,

Single SPR cannot purchase resale HDB, only legal married SPR couple who has SPR status of 3 years can purchase resale HDB. If you get married to him, you can purchase resale HDB immediately, but would need to sell away your condo once you got the HDB.

Do take note Single SPR are not eligible to purchase a resale HDB alone unless he purchase it with a SPR or SC. But SPRs need to fulfil 3 years of SPR status first.

Yes if he purchases a condo, you have no obligation to sell off your condo.
