Hi,
I am a Singaporean and my wife is a PR. We currently own a 5room flat (joint-applicant). Is my wife allowed to buy an overseas residential property? We had met our MOP.

Morning Andy,

Since you have fulfilled the MOP requirement, either of you are eligible to purchase private property outside of Singapore.

Hi, does the new ruling where PR has to sell their overseas properties within 6 months if they own a hdb flat applies to our case?

Hi Andy,
Since both of you have fulfilled the MOP requirement, then yes your wife is allowed to buy overseas residential property. If you want to know more about the oversea project ERA is marketing, do feel free to let me know.
