hi.. i am a singapore PR for 6 years single and earning about gross 90k per annum. i have set aside SGD100k cash and CPF Ordinary Account of SGD70k. I am interested to buy a private property, what options do i have? and does the amount i set aside will be enough? what are the hidden payments? i am 29 this year 2013

Based on your cash + Cpf you shd be comfortable with properties frm $6xxK - $800K range. I have just the new launches for you to get a 2bdroom
with a decent size

Hi Gary,

What about your income? What you have mentioned in terms of financial outlay basically only caters to the upfront down payment but as far as housing loan is concern, it is still dependent on your income.

Sorry, I missed out on the income portion. As mentioned by my fellow professionals, your outlay should be in the range of $800k, which is about right for a decent 2 bedders.
