Hi, I am a PR who is an essential occupier (not owner) of a HDB. The sole owner is my PR sibling. I do not own any property in SG nor overseas. If my SC application is successful, can I buy a new HDB? If no, what are my options as SC?

The issue here would be your sibling, as an SPR cannot be a single owner of a HDB flat.
