Hi, I am a looking out for flats in Joo Seng or somewhere there as I will be working nearby. However, I am also considering whether if there will be a good potential of capital appreciation of the flats in Joo Seng Area? Cos I read news that the bidadari area will be developing n will that be a factor to boost the property yield in that area? I hope it will as that area is kinda accessible to town.

On the other hand, is there going to be a shopping mall or shuttle bus services to woodleigh mrt station as I know there is none currently.

So these are the considerations I have. Is there any kind souls who can help to put in some advices?

Hi Justin,

There will be non-ending factors for consideration judging from the points that you have raised. Are you looking at an investment or home? With all the potential developments that you are looking for in the flat that you are going to purchase, are you therefore willing to pay a premium in price to own such a unit? All these plus factors if made known to a buyer will also be made known to a seller and price disparity will be aligned. In my very own opinion which I usually give to my buying clients, the most important aspect in purchasing a home first and foremost is affordability and then followed by location.
