Hi, I am a 29M Singapore citizen married to a foreign spouse 32F (no Singapore visa). We are expecting a child by the end of the year for who we will apply Singapore citizenship. We do not own any property overseas and are looking into buying an HDB flat. What are our options? Is BTO possible?
Our household income is roughly 8000 SGD/month.

Hi, I am Brendan!

Based on your mentioned situation, you can only BTO for 2-room Flexi flat in non-mature estates. Otherwise, you may purchase any resale HDB with no restrictions in room size.
However, in both situation, your spouse must have valid visit pass or work pass.
Do also take note that BTO demand is high and require 3 to 4 years of building time. If you require a flat soon, resale may be a good choice without restricting to 2 room flexi.
