Hi Gurus I had been house hunting for the past week. I came across a block that have 2 units that I am keen on. One is an empty unit, nothing in it and no renovation at all at 13 floor. One is tastefully renovated at 11 floor. The empty unit valuation is 420k whereas the lower unit is 441k. Does renovation makes such a big valuation different?

Good morning! Yes it does. Normally floor level, house condition, facing and other factors make a part in the valuation. If you need any assistance in your property purchase, feel free to contact me. Afternoon, Factors likes unit's facing, area size, renovation and mainlands status are taken into consideration during valuation. A nicely renovated unit would attract more interest in potential buyers and yield better offer pricing. Since you have being hunting for the past week, I would be sure that your agent will be able to advice you well. Regards Mike Lim 96929209  m52i@yahoo.com ERA Read More
