It is unlikely that your application to purchase a landed property here in Singapore will be granted since you are considered a newly relocated case. If you have the funds to spare, you may look into purchasing a premium landed on the Sentosa Island where foreigners will be eligible. Alternatively, you may look into purchase landed homes within condominium projects as there is also no foreign restrictions here in Singapore. Last alternative for you if you are looking out for bigger space to live in will be looking at penthouses or even ground floor units with patios.
