Hi Guru, my boyfriend and I are living in the Netherlands. Next year we want to emigrate to Singapore. We want to know if we can buy a property (freehold or leasehold) in Singapore while we still live here in the Netherlands. Is that possible in any way? Or do we first have to be Singapore citizens and both have a job in Singapore to have the oppurtunity to buy anything?

Hi Marjike,

Foreigners can buy private property in Singapore. You dont have to be working here or living here.

I cater to mostly buyers from overseas who buy here for investment purposes.

I may request you to drop me a mail on realproperty63@yahoo.com.sg and give me details like the budget, how many bedrooms etc.

Thank you and it would be my pleasure to be of service and guidance to you.

Thanking you,

Radhika Prakash
