The usual transaction period for completion for private property is 8-12weeks.This time frame will allow the respective buyer/seller
s lawyer to do the necessary checks & to liase with CPF board / bank for mortgage purposes.Feel free to contact me if you have any queries.I have on hand a few units for sale at the moment.Thanks

    Thanks for your reply. Due to my job I have to be away like one to two months, will I be able to get someone to sign the paper work when I am away and sign it when I am back????

Hi Del,

In a private transaction, the option period could be done as fast as a day followed by the early completion date of between 6-8 weeks. So the earliest time you can expect is about two months.

Hmm, you may wish to consider appointing a PA to act on your procurement and sign all documents. Find a lawyer to do the PA. It should cost you about $300. If you have doubts, you can contact me.
