Hi guru, i would like to buy a resale hdb without join name with my wife. Is this possible? Under what hdb schema?

my son(toddler) and i just converted to sc. My wife is still a spr. First time buyer.

Afternoon Mr. Ku,

It's not possible to purchase resale HDB unit with your son since you are officially married and your spouse is still around. You can purchase under public scheme with your spouse and ABSD is not payable, being your matrimonial unit.

Dear Mr. Ku,

Yes...you can purchase a resale HDB under your name only.

Your wife's name will be added as an essential occupier to fulfill the family nucleus requirement. Since your child is also a SC, do add your child as an essential occupier as well to enjoy the full CPF Family Grant of $30,000 available to you.
