Thank you for writing in here. I am assuming that you are a Singapore Citizen. In order for us to better assist you in your home purchase plans, it will be important to know as well on what your home loan eligibility is therefore you can either apply for HDB loan (check your loan eligibility at https://services2.hdb.gov.sg/webapp/BP27AWHLEApplication/BP27SHome) or apply for bank loan where you can approach a banker to do up your in principle approval.
The main difference here is that in HDB loan, you are able to loan up to 85% of the home value while for bank loan, you are able to loan up to 75% of the home value. The interest rates for bank loan is currently more attractive than HDB loan for your information.
With the loan details sorted out and knowing your existing funds available, we will then be able to work out the range of resale flats you can look into. You may also be eligible for HDB housing grants if you have not purchased any HDB flats before and also not disposed any private residential property within the last 30 months.
