Hi Guru, I am a single age 47 lady and had previously owned a 3rm flat using my single grant. I had sold my flat few years ago and currently am thinking of buying a resale flat again but am wondering with my age and only $80k in CPF and No cash would I be able to do so?

Hi,

Even though the minimum option fee is $1, and total exercise fee can be $2, it will be good if you have at least $5,000 in cash before you go ahead with your purchase of a HDB resale flat.

If you do not have any cash on hand, it will be pretty tough to find a seller who is willing to issue you the OTP for a deposit of only $2.
