Hi, if you purchase a resale hdb unit with a remaining lease of 60 years old or lesser, you will not be able to fully utilise your CPF. Pls feel free to let me know if you need any assistance.

Afternoon,

For units that have lease of lease than 60 years, you will need to understand that buyer may not be able to utilize their CPF OA in full. This would then mean that buyer will need to prepare more cash.

Disadvantage
- not brand new
- may need major renovation as current condition may be bad, or the last renovation do suit you
- more expensive than BTO
...etc

advantages
- able to choose the location you like
- can see the physical unit
- can feel the home
...etc
