Hi,

Since you are already holding the hdb property under your own name under the single scheme, there is no need to add in wife's name as occupier. She can purchase on a sole name the private property as her 1st property count. Thanks and may I understand your plans further so to make better recommendations? Look forward to hear from you.

Warm Regards,

Good evening buyer,

If I am not wrong, she will require to fulfill 5 years MOP based on HDB regulations.

Why consider to add her as occupier to your flat? I will advise you to purchase a private property solely under her name.

Hope my sharing is beneficial to your property purchase.

May I know how can I continue to value add in this purchase?

Hi,

I assume you bought your resale HDB flat not long, and hence have not completed your MOP. In that case, your wife would have to wait for MOP before she can get a resale EC / private property (should you list her as an occupier). I believe that doesn't make much sense, unless you want to use her CPF for your current housing loan repayment.

Otherwise, she can purchase a resale EC / private property anytime, whether she's married or not.

Feel free to contact me at your convenience, and we can carry on from there.

Thanks and regards,

Morning,

You seems to have purchased the resale unit under single scheme and have yet to fulfill the MOP requirement. It would be advisable to let your spouse-to-be to purchase the private property without adding her as the occupier.

Do feel free to contact me should you require additional assistance.
