Hi Everyone! Need to know - Me and my fiancee like to buy a HDB 4rm in a resale market. Can we buy without ROM cert as we are only planning to ROM next year? We haven got a date yet from ROM so no valid proof. Can we just write a letter to explain to HDB and go ahead with the purchase?

Hi Lim,

you can buy under finance/Financee scheme, which after the purchase u are required then to produce the ROM certificate within 6mths.
