Hi can my mum sell her 3rm Teck Whye flat and buy a Punggol 3rm flat? The last thing i heard from my agent is that 2 names are required to buy a house, but all of us (her kids) already got a property and she is the only one left.

Afternoon Lee,

If you are referring to purchase of resale 3 room flat in Punggol upon selling her 3 rom flat in Teck Whye, it's definitely possible. This is provided that the CPF return and the cash proceed is sufficient to cover the purchase price.

If you are referring to purchase of new unit, directly from HDB, I'm afraid the answer is no, unless you are looking at studio units for the elderly.
