You may buy a jumbo flat jointly with your daughter but your husband must be included as an occupier to form a family nucleus.

Based on eligibility requirements, your husband must be at least the essential occupier for this flat which you plan to purchase, and the Minimum Occupation Period of 5 years applies before he is able to purchase a private residential property if that is the plan.

Hi,

1) Yes, you may purchase with your daughter regardless of her age under public scheme. However, by meeting the legal age of 21, she can be listed as owner and assist in servicing the mortage.
2) You have to dispose off your interest in current flat.
3) Your husband only can keep current flat if both of you are divorced.
4) Your husband must list as essential occupier in the new purchase. He is not eligible to purchase another HDB flat as long as both of you maintain current marriage status.
5) Once listed as essential occupier, he has to comply with MOP requirement. Not eligible to purchase another private without fulfilled the 5 years minimum occupancy period (MOP).
6) If everything remains the same, not selling current and purchase another. You or your husband has to pay ABSD when purchase a private.
