Hi All, I just turned 35 this year and currently single. Have not bought any place and i'm a first timer. Do I first go to a bank and see how much can i make a loan first? What are the options for me - Condos, Resale etc? Probably not for investment, rather than a bachelor pad. Budget should be approx. 600-800K i supposed i can get it.

Morning,

Are you looking at HDB or private property? Based on yur enquires, it seems that you are more into private but do correct me if I'm wrong. Yes, it would be prudent to approach a banker to work on your IPA. Based on how much loan you can get, how much cash and CPF you have at hand, can we then worked on what's pricing and sizing is good for you.

Do feel free to contact me for further discussion.

Kenneth,

I will recommend you to speak to a few bankers to advise you on you AIP (approval in principle) first to find out on the potential loan amount you are able to take up then we will carry on the next step.

Do you need bankers' contacts?

Btw with your projected budget, you should be able to afford a small condo but its up to your preference.

But let's see how the AIP goes then we will carry on from that onwards.

Hope to hear from you soon!

Warmest Regards,
