Hi all. I am interested in buying a private condo. As this is my first time buying a property in Singapore, may I know what are all the charges that are incurred to me? Which ones are suppose to be the responsibility of the seller? Thank you so much.

Hi, firstly I would suggest that you consult a banker for loan eligibility. As by doing so, you will know what will be the purchase price that you could go for. Pls feel free to let me know if you need any banker's contact or any other assistance.

Hi,

typical breakdown of SC 1st property purchase as follows:

Cash 5%
Cpf 15%
Max bank loan 80%
Buyer stamp duties and legal fees approx 3%

Typical private transactions buyer do not pay commission. This is pretty much what you need to take into consideration. May I know which project are you considering? Thanks and let's discuss further.

When purchasing a condo, this is the estimated breakdown of the cost:

Cash
a. 5% of Valuation

CPF
a. 15% of valuation
b. Legal Fees of $2500 to $3000
c. Normal Stamp Duty – approx. 3% of purchase price
