Hi Ms. Lim,

May I know did you buy the flat direct from HDB or did you buy a resale flat (with/without grant)? If you bought a resale flat without grant, if your MOP of 5years completes before the EC completes, you might still be eligible. For BTO or flats bought with grant, you must stay for 5 years before you can apply.

Hi Ms Lim,

To help with your question, if your unit is a resale HDB unit that was purchased without CPF housing grant, as long as your unit fulfils the 5 years Minimum Occupation Period before the official date of TOP of the EC, you are eligible to purchase any new EC.

There are also other hdb requirements you will need to fulfil.

May I understand your EC requirements so that I can narrow down to the few ECs that meet your expectations?
