Hello Mr Sean Phoon!

Good day to you!
I’m Daniel Tan from Huttons.

If you are unable to sell your overseas property in the regulated 6 months time, you can write in to HDB to explain your reason of being unable to compile with the time period. Case by case, subjected to HDB approval, HDB may extend your grace period.

However you must prove to HDB with a fairly good reason why you are unable to sell in time.

I will advise you to contact HDB straight to understand the procedures.

Any other queries?
Please always feel free to contact me for a non-obligated discussion on how I can assist you with your real estate needs.

Have a great day ahead.

Best Regards

Evening Sean,

With sufficient evidence to back up your claim and effort which you have put into the sales of your overseas property, you can write in to HDB and request for extension.
