Cash outlay of a HDB purchase is as follows:
1) COV - $15k to $30k
2) Valuation report $170 to $180
3) HDB legal fees: $200+
4) Agent's commission: 1% of purchase price
5) HDB resale application submission: $80
But you have to understand you are not eligible to hold on to two HDB flats at one time thus you have to sell and buy at the same time.
