Hello. I have yet to apply for HLE. First time application for resale flat. Looking for 3 rooms. My spouse is a foreigner. Therefore, we'll be eligible for the Non-citizen Spouse Scheme.

However, we are very confused of the budget. We have tried using the HDB loan calculator and the estimate loan is about $136K only.

We need advice on this.

Yes, for purchases under "Non-Citizen Spouse Scheme", only the Citizen will be the sole owner of the flat. Hence, only the owner's income will be taken in for loan assessment.
