Hi Sir/Mdm,

1. It is still possible to purchase an EC together with another single as long as your combined income is less than 14k. It would be advisable to get an EC soon as once your income crosses 14k, you will need to appeal in order to purchase an EC.

2. For yourself, you will not be able to purchase a resale flat yet as you have not reached 35 yet. As for your friend, he will be eligible.

3. For resale flat, there is no salary cap and no limitation in terms of size. However, you will not be eligible for any HDB loan or CPF housing grant as your income exceeds the 6k.

4. There are relatively new flats in central areas. May I know what type of flats are you looking at?

I'd suggest you look into private apartments/condos, as long as it don't exceeds your budget too much.

Good morning buyer,

Yes it's possible to purchase as joint singles but do take note that you will have to be at least 35 years old to be eligible.

And if your combined income exceeds $14k, you will have to appeal for your application.

If not, your alternative will be to purchase a private property.

There are quite a number of under construction and new launches in the market right now. Developers are cutting down on the pricing. Maybe you will like to consider about it?
