Hello Gurus, Me and My wife are staying in rented apartment which has contract ending in Dec 2016. We are planning to buy the house before the contract ends. We are also thinking to buy eary as what we understand the property market is good for buying. This would mean we have to break the contract and pay about 7000$ as damages. We also hear that the prices would further go down by Dec 15 or early 2016. So should be consider buying now or can wait till June 2016. Thanks Prasad

Morning Prasad,

Nobody will be able to know whether the pricing will be heading downwards or rebound hence I would always advice my prospect to buy the unit as required, based on their budget.
As for the TA aspect, you can refer to the signed TA and see if there's any Diplomatic Clause within.

The market volatility is something that is off limited to us all. When the market will rebound or sink, is something no one can deliberate on. What I can assure you now at this present moment is, that the market is really down. Prices are already low, and very attractive. If you are serious, you might want to consider present time purchase. Recently Minister for National Development spoke about consideration of lifting cooling measures. This might just revive demand in future, hence, setting prices back up. So this is a really subjective discussion.
