Hi there, it really depends on your requirements, it would be advisable for you to go and apply for your HFE first to ascertain your loan amt, couple with your cash and CPF to firm up your budget. After which we can start looking at options within your budget before narrowing to your preferred unit type and area. Hi,

1) I'm assuming you don't have any outstanding loans to tabulate the following figures:
(a) Max loan (75%) = $297k
(b) Max loan tenure = 23 years.

2) Based on the max loan, the property price budget should be set at $396k or lower.
3) So, it really depends on how much cash and CPF OA funds you have saved to understand what budget you could have.
4) You can look for a 3-rm flat which has more than 53 years remaining lease with the above budget.
5) This is to ensure you can utilize all the funds in your OA to pay for the purchase.
6) You might also be eligible for the following grants which could boost your budget:
(a) Single citizen housing grant = $40k
(b) PHG = $10k
(c) EHG = not eligible.

Hi,

If you do not have other loans, max hdb loan attainable will be approx 328k. You should also qualify for first timer grants. Your purchase price will depend on the cash + CPF OA available for downpayment, and that will determine what options we can look at. It is most likely a 3 or 4-room in outer areas of Singapore.
