Hi Mr Tan,

You must exercise the Option within 14 days from the date of granting Option, if not, the Option will expire & you will lose the Option Fee of $1k.

If you want to sell your flat after given the Option Fee for purchasing, you may state in page 4, Clause 11 of OTP, 'when' to submit the resale application to HDB. You may put 60 days or 90 days etc, but the seller must agree with that.

Please feel free to contact me (with no obligation) for further clarification.

Regards.

Afternoon Mr. Tan,

Standard HDB OTP provides only 14 days for buyers to exercise the Option. You can provide the option for later submission of your documents to HDB but both parties must be agreeable to the terms.

I'm sure you have gone through the buyer's checklist and would have know what is required of you or at least, your salesperson would have advise you accordingly.

Regards
