May I know if you have met your MOP and paid down your housing loan? They both meant essential occupier status. Thanks and hope to understand your situation further before sharing more.

Evening,

I would deem that your spouse have purchased the current unit under non-citizen spouse scheme. Hence she is the owner and you are the essential occupier. Upon fulfilling MOP, both of you will eligible to purchase private property. However, being neither SPR or SC, you will be required to pay 10% ABSD. This have nothing to do with being essential occupier or not.
