Hi,

1) Flats that were TOP in 1983 left a lease of 60 yrs. Thus to the younger buyer, this is considered an old flat, especially to those who have not reached 35 yrs old.
2) Buying such flats will limit the CPF withdrawal for mortgage servicing.
3) The water-proofing and sunblocks are regularly maintained by the govt. Average of a period of 7~10 yrs, the govt will do replacement of all sunblocks and water-proofing.
4) Thus the top floor unit might not be necessarily hotter than the lower units.
