do you have a log to check how long do this property advertise for sale from starting till sold. so buyer can see the transaction and monitor why the property haven't sold after advertise for few month. 1) let the owner know the asking price might not be right .2) let buyer know what type of price should offer to seller when property sold. 3) help agent sell the property at market price rather owner asking sky high or selling at so low price .I am only speaking as a buyer .

Hi Mr Koh,

As a salesperson, I will have access to these data ie how long the unit has been on the market. I will also have access to real time transaction data which showed the transaction date and price done.

It is the duty of the salesperson to advise his owner whether the price is attainable and whether need to adjust the asking price according to the market condition. There will always be sellers who are not realistic with their asking price in a free market.

It is indeed a good idea to have tracking log, however, like what Nick has indicated, as an appointed salesperson, it will be part of our responsibility to advise sellers the strategies behind the sales of an apartment, whether how long it has taken and how the response has been. The owners themselves, if serious sellers will also be monitoring on their on of the progress made in the marketing of properties. Therefore if a buyer has done their due diligence, such "statistics" should also be part of what they have worked on.
