To be able to apply for BTO flat, you will need to sell your condo and observe a wait out period of 30 months before you are eligible to buy. The waiting time will be quite long as the building time takes about 3 to 4 years at least.

Hi,

1) It is a must to sell a private condo and observe a 30 months period before eligible to apply for BTO.
2) The only exception is when you are applying a 2-rm flexi leasehold flat.
3) You may sell after collection of key of the BTO. The HDB will give a 6-months grace period for your selling.
4) This is provided you have sufficient financial capacity to settle all payments before the key collection.
