Dear Sir or Madam, I am a PR, aged 36 yrs old & Single. If i successful become a singapore citizen. 1) Can i buy a new HDB flat ? 2) am i able to buy a new 3/4 room HDB flat. 3 ) Any government grant for new Singapore Citizen. 4) Any recommend/suggestion ? thanks !

Hi,

Yes you will qualify under Single Singapore Citizen Scheme and be eligible for 15k grant if your income does not exceed 5k/mth. For new BTOs, you can only purchase 2-room flats.

For resale flats, you can purchase any type n size. To qualify for 15k grant or HDB loan, your income cannot exceed 5k/mth. Thanks hope it helps. Which town are you considering?

Afternoon,

Single SC, above the age of 35, are eligible to purchase BTO of 2 room flat. If you are looking at anything bigger, you will have to source from the resale market. First timer single buyer will be able to get $15k grant, if your monthly income does not exceed $5k.
