Dear Sir/Mdm (Gurus),

I've had 2 HDB loan previously and intended to sell my 4rm flat and buy another unit.
The problem is i had under gone a DRS(debt repayment scheme) and completed the scheme in 2014 and received the completion letter from the court.
Can i apply a bank loan using my name and my spouse to apply for the housing loan?
What other alternatives if all the banks and financial institutions reject my application?
Please advise..

Hi,

Have you tried to obtain an indicative loan again from the financial institutions recently? Since you mentioned the DRS is cleared, they could re-assess your application. Can I get my banking partners to contact and assist? Thanks and hope to assist further.

I had handled cases where my clients were in the same shoes. Although one of them did not managed to obtain bank loan, we did managed to obtain a market rate loan from HDB.

Since you have undergone the DRS before, it is most important to determine whether you are still eligible for a loan before deciding whether or not to change your flat.
