Dear Gurus,
Me and my fiance are looking to buy a resale flat but I have a one year wait out period which ends on 24 Nov 2021 as my previous house was cancelled late last year after my divorce was finalised. My fiance is a first time applicant. I would like to know when the best time would be for us to submit a HLE application letter? Would it be possible for us to submit an application before the 24th or do we still have to wait after the 24th?

Hi,

1) You may submit anytime if you intend to purchase this resale flat without grants.
2) The fact is both of you are considered as 1st timers even though you had applied for a BTO.

If you can get grants why rush to buy? It is only another month or so. So, please wait. In the meantime, you can do your groundwork in terms of appointing your agent and shortlisting locations. Do contact me.
