Dear Gurus, I am 35yrs old single. Is it advisable for me to buy over flat from my parents. This is a 5 room flat in the North.I have every intention of owning it. Can I service this flat by myself.I do not wish to buy 2 room bto. My annual income is $65k.I have about $150k in my cpf. Do I qualify? If yes, hdb loan or have to go for bank loan?What other options there for me?

Based on your income status, you might not be eligible for HDB loan nor grant. And if you need to get bank loan, I would need to know if you have sufficient cash for the 5% down payment.

Hi,

In order to qualify for HDB loan for Single Scheme, your gross income must not be more than $5k per month. You can get a bank loan, but minimum 5% CASH is required for the down payment.
