Dear all, thank you so much for all the wonderful advice. Appreciate it.

Do I just contact any agent listed in Propertyguru verbally and inform him/her of my requirement?

Is any invoice or contract detailing period/types/charges of services by the buyer's agent needed when I engage one?

Is there any other issues/procedure which I need to take note or do when engaging an agent?

By the way, how much is the valuation report?

Hi Sheryl

For 3 room flat and above, valuation report cost $201. And basically, to appoint a buyer agent is a very simple procedure or process, and you do not need to sign anything at all. Pls feel free to let me know should you need assistance. Cheers!

Hi Sheryl,

It is not a must to sign any contract with a agent who will help you with your house hunting etc. Just find one whom you feel comfortable with and I believe the agent will be glad to assist you with the whole process.

Cost of valuation report is $192 for 3room and bigger units, $133 for 2 room and smaller.
