Hi,

If you add in your parents name as occupants, they will have to sell away their current hdb as you are applying as a family nucleus. Singles above 35 can only for 2-rm BTO in non-mature estate. Your better options would be for a bigger resale or a condo. Then perhaps they can move in with you and you can rent out your parents unit for their retirement income. May I know which scheme will you like to apply under?

If you are applying under single scheme, you can only apply for 2rm bto in non mature estates.

If you are applying under public scheme with your parents as occupiers, they have to sell their hdb within 6 months from key collection date of bto.
