Compass heights price is quite high, should i invest, will the price still go up?

Hi
Residential prices has gone past the 1996 peak set. Although we shouldn't always compare to previous peak as the ecnomics and market conditions are totally different from 10+ yeasr back and the market may set a new high.
Nevertheless we should see the flipside that government intervention will certainly cool or stablizie the market. For investment wise, my views are not a good entry period unless you are ready to hold for 5-10years period.
Are you aware of the recent governement measure to cool and stablize the property market?
