Can the seller deny inspection before completion for condo?

Dear sir/madam,
From my understanding of my last 12 years in this business, for private residential properties, if purchaser did not request for an inspection to be done prior to completion as a condition of the sale and purchase, seller does not have any obligations to allow the inspection to take place. You may wish to reconfirm this with your appointed lawyer on this subject matter.

1) So far never see "inspection" prior to sales completion in private residential property OTP.
2) Inspection prior to completion is stated under HDB OTP so as both parties are aware there is such activity can be carried out, and the seller cannot deny entry on this request.
3) Thus if you wished to have the same in private residential property, this has to be stated in the OTP signed, and the lawyer will include this into the sales and purchase agreement.
