Good morning Seint,

I am afraid to inform you that single SPR or SPR household is not eligible to purchase resale EC within MOP. You can only do so with a married SC spouse as per new EC rules.

Will you consider private segment?

Dear sir/mdm,

No, SPR will not be eligible to purchase resale EC that has been approved for sale before MOP as such units will still require the purchasers to meet the pre-requisites as if it is a brand new EC.

You may wish to look into resale ECs that have already fulfilled their MOP instead and there are actually quite a number of options.

I would like to compliment Mr Ivan Ng for his professional work and effort.I sent my first post in Jan 2019 and Ivan replied promptly, so I have decided to contact Ivan for follow up. My EC was not ready for sale due to MOP (another 3 months from Jan) at that time and Ivan was able to give me advices on how to proceed from there. 1) Those ECs that received special permission to sell before completing their MOP are still under the HDB jurisdiction.
2) Therefore only SC family and joint-Single SC are eligible for them.
3) SPR family and single SPR are not eligible for these ECs.
