Can somebody explain more on HDB extension of stay

Hi Tony,
Extension of stay is granted to the Seller by the Buyer, with the Buyer agreeing to allow the Seller to stay on for up to 3 months after the legal completion of the flat.
One main criteria for extension of stay is that the Seller must have already committed to a purchase of a resale property upon the submission of case for the sale flat to HDB.
