Are you referring to HDB sale or private sale? For HDB sale, the allowed extension is up to 3 months. Whether rental is charged during this period or not, you can actually work out the terms and conditions and come to an agreement. I'd certainly like to have the rental amount deducted from the final purchase price, this reduces my stamp duty payable. Read More
