There is no restrictions to purchasing a resale HDB with this income, however, you are not eligible to apply for the grant and financing is only through bank loan.

Hi

No income ceiling is applicable for HDB resale. For BTO/SBF, the income ceiling for families is $14k per month for most flat types and $18k per month for 3 Gen flats. However if you choose to purchase a HDB resale, you might not be eligible for HDB loan (have to take bank loan or full paid) and first timer grants. I am well versed in HDB transactions with the vast majority of my buyer managed to secure a unit without any COV despite the current seller's market situation. HDB eligibility is not based on your income, rather whether you are able to form a valid family nucleus under one of the many HDB Eligibility Schemes, i.e Public Scheme, Non-Citizen Spouse Scheme etc.
